Far and away the best anatomy book for artists ever

Far and away the best anatomy book for artists ever. I have used it for decades to teach students how to draw the human figure and promise them that if they copy just One Page every day, by the time they reach a quarter through the book, they will be able to look at anyone and draw them believably. It's always proved true and they're always surprised at how quickly they learn. Excellent drawings and configurations to understand the relationship between movable parts of the figure.

Anatomy for the Artist

Every artist needs a complete book of anatomy, and this is one choice. There could be better examples in it of the human head, and foreshortening. It would make a good complement to 'Drawing the Head and Figure', by Jack Hamm, which is a simpler book.
